PROJECT: CAMPUS CONSOLID ATION

Educational Testing Services (ETS) enlisted DVP Construction Group to oversee a significant update to their campus master plan, involving the complete removal of three office structures with meticulous attention to environmental concerns during demolition:

Anrig Hall: A four-story building spanning 75,000 square-feet.

B – Building: A Single-story structure covering 15,000 square-feet.

Conant Hall: A two-story facility occupying 25,000 square-feet.

In response to the campus’s operational needs, ETS set a stringent project timeline of just four months from start to finish to minimize disruptions.

Beyond demolition, the project scope included:

Relocation of Utilities: Adjusting and relocating private steam, chilled water, sewer, data, and electrical services without impacting ongoing campus operations.

Environmental Remediation: Prioritizing the safe removal of hazardous building materials before structural dismantling.

Recycling Initiative: Significantly, all steel, concrete, and masonry from the demolished buildings were recycled. Construction and demolition materials were transported to a LEED Certified Recycling center, aligning with sustainable practices.

Site Restoration: Transforming the cleared areas into new open spaces and park-like settings.

This project’s successful completion highlights DVP’s expertise in managing complex and logistically challenging projects while prioritizing the environmental and sustainability goals set by the client.
